DWUL helps schools and districts coordinate affordable, high-quality afterschool programs with reduced administrative burden and stronger access for families.
Schools are often expected to support student well-being, family engagement, and community connection beyond the regular school day.
But afterschool program coordination requires time, staffing, provider communication, registration systems, payment processing, safety requirements, parent support, and reporting.
Most schools are not resourced to manage this alone at scale. DWUL provides the support infrastructure.
Program Planning: Program interests, schedules, school space, seasonal planning, and community needs.
Provider Coordination: Provider onboarding, communication, scheduling, and program setup.
Registration & Payments: Online registration, payment collection, promo codes, refund support, and parent communication.
Subsidy Access: Confidential support pathways for students and families facing financial barriers.
School Communication: Program information, registration links, updates, reports, and support for school communities.
Compliance Support: Insurance, criminal record checks, provider expectations, safety guidelines, and documentation support.
DWUL helps schools expand afterschool access without placing the full administrative burden on school staff.
Reduced Administrative Workload: DWUL centralizes key coordination, registration, communication, and support functions.
More Program Options: Schools can offer a wider range of activities including arts, sports, STEM, music, chess, martial arts, wellness, and social-emotional learning.
Improved Family Access: Programs are delivered in school communities, reducing transportation barriers for families.
Support for Vulnerable Students: Subsidy systems help students participate without stigma or unnecessary barriers.
Better Data & Reporting: DWUL provides program data, participation information, and reporting support.
Scalable District Model: The system can support multiple schools instead of relying on isolated site-by-site efforts.
DWUL's role is supplementary. We support afterschool enrichment coordination, registration, provider onboarding, parent communication, customer service, reporting, and administrative support. The goal is to enhance district and school capacity, not replace existing staff responsibilities.
Schools and districts maintain oversight while DWUL helps manage the operational layer required to make programs work at scale.
DWUL works with school and district partners to support safe, appropriate, and high-quality program delivery. Provider requirements may include valid liability insurance, criminal record checks, district-approved safety guidelines, program expectations and accountability standards, and ongoing communication and monitoring, with suspension or removal if standards are not met.
DWUL's verification and provider coordination model has been developed through years of real-world implementation and can be adapted for additional districts.
DWUL can work with district leaders, school administrators, community connections teams, and parent groups to explore phased implementation. Contact DWUL to start a conversation.
